After Syria comes Albania. Ministry of Interior Affairs in Germany made public on Wednesday the data of asylum requests in this state. The statement said that Albania is in the second place after Syria for the high number of asylum seekers.
Despite the appeals made by the high officials in Tirana and Germany also, the number of the requests for asylum has increased. According to the data, on May 2014 the requests for Asylum from Albania were 3260. Meanwhile, on May 2015 it went up to 16.250, with 78.7 percent more than a year before.
