For the third year, Tirana Municipality opened in Baldushk village of Tirana the special poultry market.
"Last year, some 28,000 turkeys were sold in Tirana, generating about $ 1.4 million. I urge to all citizens to consume local product and help the economy. Not only these turkeys taste better, not only the price is cheaper but we help the domestic economy on the New Year's Eve," said Veliaj.
Meanwhile, the Consumer Protection Agency is working to ensure food safety as well as price monitoring where citizens can denounce on the green number for any issues they find.
