New details have been unveiled by the State Police in relation to an attempted assassination that happened on Saturday in Elbasan. The police report that Ardian �apja may have been the perpetrators target due to the fact that gunshots were directed toward his house. He managed to escape unharmed while the authors fled the scene using a Mercedes vehicle carrying counterfeited plates, informed the police.

The car, that according to the police had been stolen a few days ago in a residential area of Tirana, was found completely burned down not far from the crime�s scene. The vehicle had been equipped with counterfeited plates carrying the same numbers as those of Ardian Capja� neighbor�s car enabling the authors to approach their victim without raising suspicions.

Police inquiry on the motives of this attempted assassination is still ongoing.
