The High Inspectorate for Assets Declaration (HIAD) report on 7 candidates running for the position of temporary chief prosecutor was considered by the Legal Issues, Public Administration and Human Rights Issues Parliamentary Committee in a closed door meeting on Friday. The presentation of this report, related to each candidate�s declared assets, followed the hearing sessions with each one of the candidates for this important position.

The Democratic Party (DP) and Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) MPs boycotted this session as they did during the hearing sessions while declaring that the entire process for the election of a temporary chief prosecutor is clearly non-constitutional.
