The proclamation of Theth area as historic center was among the most important decisions of the during the government�s meeting in Shkodra. Prime Minister Edi Rama gave this news while stressing that this decision will pave the way to the area�s development.

�We have decided to declare Theth and surrounding area as historic center, maintaining a campaign-related commitment related to the necessity for major financial resources for this wonderful area, starting with the reconstruction of on the road that leads to Theth. A regulation on the protection, conservation and administration of the historical and cultural values of this center and the entire protected area was also approved by the government,� informed the chief of executive.

The modality of cooperation with Shkodra municipality was also determined for the preservation and promotion of the best tourist, historical and cultural values of Thethi area.
