Abbot Do�i historic house in Shkodra that once welcomed the �Unity� social-cultural association will from now on benefit a special institutional protection. This news was given on Saturday by the Minister of Culture Mirela Kumbaro who stated that this object of extraordinary values will from now have a new status and may soon become subject to restoration.

�The Shkodra citizens call this premise �The Abbot�s house� or the place where �Unity� association that drafted the Albanian alphabet. �Unity� vocabulary, as it was defined in the following years, was approved in Manastir�s Congress in 1908. The Ministry of Culture will protect this house not only as an important historic place but also as an interesting architectonic premise,� said Kumbaro.
