Albanian Armed Forces troops� wages will be subject to increase in 2019. Prime Minister Edi Rama made this promise in his address during a medals awarding to the AFF ceremony on Friday as token of gratitude for the work done during flooding situation.

�I solemnly engage in front of you that 2018 will be the last year in which your salaries will remain in the current quotas. We are determined to increase army�s budget, as we did in fact in the budget 2018, but the raise will continue eyeing a clear objective. Wages� considerable increase will be among the budget 2019 priorities,� declared the chief of executive.

He also stressed that financial reward will be given to the effectives that coped with the flooding situation preventing the loss of human lives.

�In spite of the fact that your devotion and commitment can�t be compensated with anything the government will allocate a fund in sign of appreciation for everything you did in these days,� said Premier Rama, addressing to the army�s troops.
