Half of Albania woke up under water this Saturday. The Civil Emergency Committee declared that the situation is alarming and the South of the country continues to be more threatened by the floods. According to this committee the most problematic regions remain, Vlora, Fieri, Gjirokastra, Korca and Berati.
Army troop are on the ground to evacuate families at risk from flooding. In some cases, they used force to evacuate families that do not want to leave their homes. Actually the evacuation process is ongoing in Fier, Berat and Vlora.
