Around 3300 houses were flooded, while 266 citizens were forced to leave their homes due to the heavy rain.
This is the balance at the end of 24 hours of rain all over Albania.
The counselor of the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, Sander Lleshi, declared late on Friday that the situation is nearly to a historical level.
"266 persons were saved in emergency conditions. Some 3300 homes were affected by flooding and 23 schools cannot be functional," declared Lleshi.
