One person was injured due to the flames that engulfed a plant, part of the Ball Oil Refinery on Wednesday morning. Vladimir Ymeri, 53, a technician of the oil refinery, was injured by the explosion of a gas pipe which was quickly followed by flames that spread thanks to oil residues on the ground. He was urgently hospitalized and according to the medical staff his conditions present no risk for life.

The immediate arrival of firefighters prevented flames spreading in other areas of the oil refinery. Meantime the police opened an inquiry aimed to define the motives of this sudden explosion.
