Naval Radars control by the organized crime, repeatedly denounced by the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) is confirmed by the tapings made public from the Italian authorities. The clear and direct declaration was made on Wednesday by the SMI MP, Luan Rama.

�I have repeatedly denounced, publically and politically, during the last two months the fact that Albania�s Naval Forces radars and State Police radars were out of order since 2014 yet there was no reaction by the institutions. Everyone remained silent and continue to remain silent still today. But the publication of wiretappings by the Italian authorities proves that radars were controlled by power related traffickers. Country�s ruling by the organized crime and traffickers made Albania a shameful example in the eyes of NATO. National security, NATO�s standard of security in Albania�s maritime space was seriously hampered in order to serve to the traffickers interests,� declared Luan Rama.
