Albanian passports issuing for Kosovo citizens would not resolve their free traveling issue. President Ilir Meta made this declaration on Friday in response to an earlier request addressed by his counterpart Hashim Tha�i.

�Kosovo citizens free traveling thanks to their new passports and the visas liberalization with Albania does not unblock the country�s integrating processes Albania is constantly monitored by the Schengen zone countries in relation to the fulfillment of the criteria for visas liberalization. Thus, an uncontrolled move in this direction could lead to a suspension of this regime for the Albanian citizens,� declared Meta.

Meantime he defined the Kosovo president Thaci�s request a protest in the name of the citizens� right for free traveling.
