An American radar will monitor with Albanian airspace. The information was made public by the Defense Minister, Olta Xhacka on Tuesday during a press conference with his Polish counterpart, Antoni Macierewic.
From the other side, minister Xhacka underlined the fact that Albanian government increased the budget for the defense.
"Around ALL 400 millions were added to the defense budget on 2017. The fund will be used on the modernization of the Army Forces," said Xhacka.
Meanwhile, Polish Minister gave the "Polish Campaign Stars" medal to two Albanian vice colonels Silvana Lahi and Dritan Muka, who served near the Polish personnel in a mission in Afghanistan.
