Democrats gathered on Tuesday in front of Azem Hajdari's memorial commemorating his death anniversary. The Democrat leader, Lulzim Basha defined Azem Hajdari as the personification of the best patriotic and nationalist values.

�Hajdari personifies the war without any compromise for freedom and democracy and the best patriotic and nationalist values in a society that is called DP. We come here today vowing to never accept a new dictatorship, personal power and autocracy,� said Basha.

Meantime the former-DP chair, Sali Berisha urged to the democrats to realize Azem Hajdari�s ideals.

�We commemorate today with great sadness the barbarian execution of the freedom�s tribune, Azem Hajdari. He is not only an historic leader but also an inspiration source for every young Albanian. Let his courage and vision inspire us to realize as soon as possible his ideals which are currently experiencing a difficult moment,� said Berisha.
