Prime Minister Edi Rama is confident that the new government will be decreed by President Ilir Meta. During a dialogue with journalists on Tuesday he said that Meta would not play an obstructive role, despite the declarations made during the electoral campaign.

�Everyone makes mistakes. After all we are humans, not robots. Of course, there are different kinds of mistakes which may generate all kinds of costs, but I don�t see such an auto-destructive potential as the one unfolded during the electoral campaign,� said Rama, referring to President Meta previous declarations.

Regarding to some merged ministries he denied any conjecture that this move was the origin of the partnership with Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) rupture.

�The merged ministries did not belong exclusively to SMI. The Ministry of Finances and Economy were not in the hands of this political force,� declared the Premier.

In response to media interest PM Rama declared that the conversation option with the opposition will remain open during the next 4 years.

�I do not foresee a weekly meeting with opposition�s leader, Lulzim Basha but we will probably meet once every two or three months to discuss over different issues. In my opinion this is something completely doable,� stated PM Rama.
