The National Food Authority (NAF) cannot guarantee food security in Albania. At least this is the conclusion of the State Supreme Audit (SSA) after some controls realized in this institution.

According to SSA, after the auditions made from January 2012 to December 2016, results that NAF made a lot of legal violations that affect the food quality with economical and social consequences.

Supreme Audit declared in this situation has affected even the frequent changes of the NAF directors.
