Health institutions raised the alarm after four citizens from Permet and Gjirokastra resulted to be infected with anthrax. The authorities are trying to keep the situation under control and avoid a possible epidemic.

�Four persons are actually in hospital. Three are from Permet and one from Gjirokastra. They resulted to be infected with anthrax,� the chief of the department of infective diseases, Silva Bino reported. She urged to all the citizens that have animals with anthrax to bury them.

This kind of disease spreads from the animals to the humans and is related to the problems experienced during the vaccination process.
