The Supreme State Audit (SSA) sued on Tuesday the Vlora Hospital Director, Kujtim Llapi on grounds of abuse of office. An auditing process conducted by the SSA experts discovered a financial damage of ALL 26.4 Million. A series of violations of the legal provisions in vigor by director Llapi were ascertained during the auditing process.

SSA demands the director�s immediate dismissal by the Ministry of Health and his penal prosecution for abuse of office and financial damage to the state�s budget.

This request follows the ultimatum given one day by Prime Minister Edi Rama to the hospital directors to resign within 24-hours clearing the path to an open competition for their successors.
