The frozen Democrat leader, Lulzim Basha, at the same time one of the candidates running for party�s chair position, declared that the electoral process will unify this political force.

�The electoral process is going on normally and in a civilized manner. I am confident that we will come out of these elections stronger that before. Our unification will turn DP into the only political force that represents Albanians hopes,� said Basha after casting the vote in DP headquarters.

Over 100.000 Democrats are expected to vote for the party�s new chair. Voting process started at 08:00 in 73 poll stations opened in 68 branches of DP in the entire country and will end at 19:00. The chairman�s election is based on the principle �One member, one vote�.
