The collection of the Ali Pasha Tepelena weaponry that has been exhibited in the Gjirokastra castle for many years, will now have a more aesthetic appearance and in accordance with the time.
The project was carried out in cooperation with the Peace Corps and CHwB Albania and was made possible for the castle to undergo an aesthetic reconstruction that brings the whole environment to a new image.
This investment has consisted in equipping the entire castle with the orientation and explanatory signaling for visitors.
The inauguration ceremony of this project was made on the 12th anniversary of Gjirokastra in UNESCO.
Ali Pasha Tepelena weaponry is considered among the most modern for the time.
