'Let's join forces demanding the ballot recounting in the entire district of Tirana'. This appeal was addressed on Thursday by the Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity (PJIU) Deputy-Chairwoman, Mesila Doda to the opposition parties. She underlined that the recounting of a number of ballot boxes by the Central Elections Commission (CEC) indicated that the result was different in each one of them.

So far no ballot box recounting result is the same with that in the table of results drafted on June 25. A recounting process of every ballot box in Tirana becomes more than necessary on view of the fact that votes have been alienated and the process has been infringed, said Doda.

So far 14 votes more have been given to the Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity (PJIU) while the recounting of 70 ballot boxes by the Central Elections Commission is far from ending. Meantime three votes have been detracted from the number of votes obtained by Socialist Party in Tirana on June 25th.

CEC agreed to recount a total of 70 ballot boxes on view of the complaints presented by SP and PJIU.
