Anti-Narcotics Inspections, 1785 Cannabis Saplings Destroyed

Some 1785 Cannabis Sativa saplings were seized and then destroyed on Thursday by the Shkodra police in a deep rural area. The narcotics plants were discovered during a series of air-inspections conducted by the State Police in collaboration with the Italian Guardia di Finanza.

A quantity of 397 Cannabis Sativa saplings were seized and destroyed by the police in Pult Administrative Unit while the remaining 1388 narcotics saplings were found in Shosh Administrative Unit.

The narcotics sapling cultivators managed to elude capture and have been declared wanted by the police. Meantime the anti-narcotics inspections from the air are still ongoing on a national scale.
