A 55-years old man from Memaliaj, part of Tepelena district, was arrested on Tuesday on suspicions of Cannabis Sativa cultivation.

Albano Rama, 55, had been declared wanted a year ago by the police after the seizure of 1300 Cannabis Sativa saplings in a parcel near his house. The police inquiry indicated that A. Rama was the owner of the seized narcotics quantity. He managed to elude capture and was immediately declared wanted by the police.

Albano Rama will now be prosecuted on ground of narcotic cultivation.
