For the first time, road police in Albania will have a special operational unit. This new directory which will be all over the country, will investigate all the road accidents and has the duty to initiate blitz operations any time.
The new structure aims to have an impact in road accidents and avoid them as much as possible. According to the new order signed by the State Police General Director, Haki Cako, in some roads police will apply even spy radars to control the vehicle speed.
These kind of radars are designed to not to be noticed, so the traffic data you collect is unaffected and you get a picture of unenforced traffic patterns.
They see if the driver put the seatbelt, speak on the phone ore drive to fast.
