The President-Elect, Ilir Meta received a congratulatory message on Friday from the France�s President, Emanuelle Macron.

�First of all I want to thank you for the congratulatory message in occasion of my election as the President of France.

Allow me to extend to you my most heartfelt congratulations for the elections as the Albania�s President. I am more than sure that two countries relations will be further enhanced thanks to the strategic cooperation partnership agreement signed on March 28, 2017 in Paris,� wrote President Macron.

Through this message president Macron expressed the certitude that Meta�s election as country�s president will give a new impetus to the country�s progress toward EU integration.
