The Party for Justice, Integrity and Unity (PJIU) claims that has won a mandate in Tirana on June 25th, despite the fact that the official result has not been certified yet by the Central Elections Commission (CEC).
This issue was the highlight of a meeting on Thursday beetwen the Socialist Party chair for Tirana, Sajmir Tahiri and the MPs of the areas in question.
He was informed about the SP results in some of these polling stations and the chances for the mandates preservation despite PJIU claim are huge.
Meantime PJIU warned to address to the Electoral College for the electoral process result in Tirana. This political force nearly obtained a mandate in Tirana but the ballots counting in Municipal Unit 5 overturned the result giving the mandate to SP.
PJIU pretends that they won this mandate, saying that some of the votes were mistaken.
