MFA Condemns the Acts of Violence in Macedonia and Calls for Calm.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania is paying great attention to the situation of the last hours in Macedonia, expressing its concern about the situation, with serious consequences in human lives, damage to property and public order.

"We condemn every act of violence and we call for calm, restraint and for no further escalation of the situation, which does not serve the democratic stability and prosperity of Macedonia," reacts Ministry of Interior Affairs.

According to this ministry, ethnic relations harmony, which was enshrined in the Ohrid Agreement, is of essential importance for the democratic stability and it must serve as a compass orientation on the path towards Euro-Atlantic integration of Macedonia.
