The President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani received on Wednesday a acknowledgment message by his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron. The French president, Macron thanked the Albanian Head of State for the kind congratulatory message extended in occasion of his election.

�I wish to say thank to you for the great kindness shown through a congratulatory message in occasion of my election as President of France. Allow me to assess the work done by you during the presidential mandate in the interest of Albania�s European integration, especially in the framework of justice reform and fight against corruption,� wrote the French president, Macron.

He expressed the firm confidence that Albania will make further forward steps in the undertaken reforms.
