The Socialist MP, Sajmir Tahiri, made a strong declaration on Thursday accusing the President-elect, Ilir Meta for paying large sums of money throwing mud against State Police and spying him while he was Interior Minister. He even made public who was the 'spy' unveiling that he was the vice Interior Minister.

�You have been throwing mud on me since a long time, while I have openly reacted by telling you that this is a wrongful action. You threw the entire kennel of sold-out journalists on my back and even tried to use your spy in the position of Deputy Minister of Interior to place a listening device in my office.

You keep going after me even now that I no longer hold that position. You and your spouse are fabricating all kind of false accusations for police pressure and votes� buying attempts toward my person. The Albanian opinion knows quite well the real manipulators of the citizens� vote and the job-places trading in exchange for electoral support. Thus, you can�t foul anyone by playing the victim�s role,� said Tahiri addressing to Meta.

He stressed that the best answer to this direct attack against him would be given to Meta�s SMI through the electors votes on June 25.
