The Central Election Commission (CEC) raised the alarm on Thursday that political parties still refuses to proposes the commissioners of the voting centers, putting at risk the entire electoral process.
Through a press statement this institution denounced that this absurd and intolerable situation continues despite the fact that the Electoral Code speaks clear at this point.
"Ten days ahead of the Parliamentary Elections and political parties still did not proposed the commissioners of the voting centers. Some 62 commissions are without commissioners. This is unacceptable situation and shows lack of responsibility from the political parties," said CEC.
According to this institution, political parties should deposit their proposals immediately and not damage the electoral process.
