Shkodra First Instance Court issued on Thursday the remand in prison as security measure for two inspectors of Health Inspectorate (HI) on ground of documents forgery. Preliminary inquiry shows that inspectors Dritan Geci and Milseva Milla used to issue the environmental cleanliness certificates in exchange of bribes.

Different sums of money going from ALL 4.000 up to ALL 10.000 were paid for these forged disinfection and decontamination certificates issued to the businesses.

At the end of a series of inspections conducted in these businesses two inspectors evidenced these certificates deadline expiration or the total absence of this document. Immediately after that they got in touch with the business owners offering them a disinfection and decontamination certificate issued by Neo-Vita ltd, whose activity had been suspended since January 7, 2015.
