Prosecutors asked German authorities to help them identify the cause of the incident that took place during the Democratic Party meeting, after 146 participants went to hospital for skin rash and burning eyes.
Sources said for Top Channel that the foreign expertise was requested since examiners in Albania said the process takes much longer due to the lack of high-end equipment.

This expertise will determine the elements that were present on the blood of 22 citizens who requested medical help immediately, while others had lighter problems.

The Prosecution is also expecting the military to review not only the terrain, but also the clothes of the protesters.

The expertise from the Armed Forces said no dangerous element was found on the boulevard. While police suspects the harm was caused by light projectors, the company owner says they were used in other events as well.
