Musa
Ramadani, a Kosovo writer, was the winner of the third edition of Kadare
prize thanks to his novel The Prophet from Prague. Kadare Prize, already a
tradition in the Albanian literature, was awarded to Ramadani during Razma
Literary Days. The winners name was announced by the French former-Minister of
Culture, Frederic Miterrand.

Six
writers from a total of 36 competitors coming from every Albanian-speaking
territory were included in the jurys final list. The jury, headed by the
writer and translator, Bashkim Shehu, labeled The Prophet from Prague as a
narrations mosaic and a collage of narrative techniques, a roman for the literature,
a pleasure text and act of eternity, where the Creator is unfolded as an open
book toward the contexts and different connotations.

Kadare
Prize was awarded by Pashko European Institute with the auspice of Tirana
European University. This prize is given along with a EUR 10.000 sum, while the
winners book will be published by MAPO publications.
