The 90th anniversary of esk Zadeja, known as the father of the Albanian music, will be commemorated on Friday through a concert in the Orthodox Cathedral Cultural Center that will include some of the most beautiful pieces of his extraordinary creations.

Desar Sulejmani will direct the National Opera and Ballet Theater (NOBT) symphonic orchestra that will bring to the public the first symphony of 1956, "Scanderbeg" film soundtrack and the last work for orchestra that Cesk Zadeja composed in 1996, one year before his departure from this world.

Zadeja's creations include a large number of compositions, symphony sketches and ballet music, some of which will certainly become part of this concert. A special interest is dedicated to the Scanderbeg film soundtrack, the vocal parts of which will be performed by the baritone Armando Likaj.

The 90th anniversary of esk Zadeja's birth coincides with positive news for the NOBT, as this institution will now be part of "Opera Europe", the highest institution of the old continent for opera theaters.
