An anti-narcotics raid conducted on Wednesday by the Vlora police led to the seizure of nearly one ton of Cannabis Sativa. Acting on confidential information previously obtained by the agents the police blocked a van loaded with 932 kg of narcotics. The Mercedes Van platted AA 196 AI was blocked in proximity of an area known as �Kuzum Baba�, close to the city�s center.

A minute inspection of the vehicle was finalized with the discovery of 46 packages of different sizes containing cones similar to that of cannabis sativa. 

A person, whose only initials G.M. were made public, was declared wanted by the police. Meantime the police inquiry for a full discovery of this drugs traffic network and other persons involved is still ongoing.
