Despite the fact that tourist season official opening is still distant, a massive presence of vacationers were seen sunbathing in Durres beach last weekend. 

The visitors, coming from different districts of Albania, and even from Kosovo or Macedonia, exploited the high temperatures to enjoy the sunrays and take a bath in the sea. They appreciated the calmness of the Durresi coastal line while expressing their concern over the absence of the proper accommodating infrastructure. The early visitors of the coastal line also urged to the authorities to accelerate the work’s rhythms for the sand’s cleansing, showers and public baths installment. 

The beach cleansing process is currently underway under the local authorities supervision ahead of the tourist season official opening.
