Elections, State Budget Fund Distribution Scheme Unveiled A sum of ALL 65 Million from the State Budget will be distributed tomorrow by the Central Election Commission to the political parties for the June 18 elections. According to a predefined formula this sum will be divided in two parts and 95% of it will be given to six parties with the highest number of votes in the last parliamentary elections while the remaining 5% to the smaller parties. A fund of ALL 44,486,402 will be given to the Socialist Party (SP), ALL 11,253,690 will be given to Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), Party for Justice, Integration and Unity will receive a fund of ALL 2,803,414 ALL 1,827,703 will be given to the New Democratic Spirit (NDS) and so on.  The fund given to each political force is calculated by dividing the total sum of ALL 65 Million with 990.255 valuable votes obtained by 6 political parties which benefit 95% of the fund given by the State Budget. The outcome is multiplied with the number of votes obtained by each party in the parliamentary elections of 2013. The rest, a sum of ALL 3.25 Million, equivalent to 5% of the fund given by the State Budget for this purpose, is divided between 9 political parties registered as electoral subjects for the upcoming Parliamentary Elections. A sum of ALL 361.111 will be given to each one of them by dividing the total sum with the small parties’ number.
