New Changes Within State Police Ranks

New movements have been registered on Monday within State Police structures. At least 12 deputy-directors and police stations chief have been transferred to other positions in Tirana and other districts.

Tirana Police Directory Deputy-Director, Skender Hita has been transferred at the same position in Lezha police directory. He has been replaced by Arben Sinoimati, which previously held the post of Police Commisariat 2 chief. Tirana Police Commissariat No. 1, Elton Alushi has been transferred to the post of Chief of Sector in the Minor Crimes, part of Tirana police directory.

Police Commissariat No. 4 in Tirana chief, Alket Shatro has been dismissed. He has been appointed specialist in the Serious Crimes sector in State Police General Directory. Shatro has been replaced by Shijak Police Station former-chief, Agim Hoxha. The last has been replaced by Aliosha Broka.

‘Eagle’ chief of sector, Vladimir Laska has been replaced by Olsi Bitri, while the Police Station 6 in Tirana chief, Neritan Boritan Boçi is replaced by Arben Aliko.

The road police chief, Ervin Hasrama name is also among these dismissed from their positions. He has been replaced by Erjon Ahmeti.

The numerous replacements of police officers are part of a large scale change undertaken since Fatmir Xhafaj nomination as the new Minister of Interior Affairs. This process aims to give a positive forward push to the fight against narcotics and organized crime.
