The UK calls on all political parties to engage constructively to ensure that the forthcoming elections are fully participatory. 

Through a short press statement, the British Embassy in Albania declared on Wednesday evening that it would be regrettable if parties chose not to participate. 

"The Albanian electorate deserve the right to an election which provides them with the widest possible choice. We call upon all members of all political parties to ensure that the run up to these elections, and the elections themselves, are free from violence," says the statement.
