The tourist season opening in Velipoja will be celebrated through an activity titled “Velipoja Fest’ which will take place on May 1. This event is organized by Shkodra City Hall in collaboration with The Decor Albania. The amusements program includes the opening of an artisan fair, various soccer, handball and volleyball matches. 

A festive concert with modern dances and songs is also expected to be among highlights of this event. Aquatic sports like windsurfing, kite-surfing and rowing will also enabled by “Albanian Water Sports” through free lessons offered to the participants in this activity.
