‘LIBRA will address to the Electoral College if the Central Elections Commission (CEC) goes mad’. This warning was publicly announced on Thursday by this political force chair, Ben Blushi at the eve of CEC meeting that is expected to discuss over the postponement of the coalitions’ registration deadline.

“I hope that this law violation will not happen, but if CEC postpones the coalitions registration deadline LIBRA will address to the Electoral College legally objecting this illicit step. We should protect the law in order to protect the elections. If someone goes mad then he is hospitalized, but if an institution goes mad then we should bring it in front of the court,” said Blushi.

The Socialist Party (SP) and the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI), two main parties of the ruling coalition addressed a letter one day ago to the CEC asking for the coalitions’ deadline postponement. According to SP and SMI this request aimed to enable the participation of every political force, including the opposition in the upcoming legislative elections.
