A modern laboratory for cannabis processing was discovered in Skrapar on Wednesday finalizing a two-week inquiry conducted by the Court of Serious Crimes. 

Police sources informed albaniannews.com that over 200 cannabis saplings and a large quantity of dried cannabis were sequestrated during this raid. According to the Serious Crimes prosecutors this laboratory ranks among the most modern ones for the narcotics processing discovered so far.

This laboratory discovery was the result of investigative work that kicked off after the sequestration of 1 ton of cannabis sativa in a storehouse situated in Lapan village of Skrapar on March 23. Seven people were then declared wanted by the police due to their involvement in narcotics cultivation and attempted distribution.
