This project enabled by the German government and endorsed by the Ministry of Economy and Tourism (MET) and the Ministry of Energetic and Industry (MEI) aims the incomes from tourism and culture growth, anticipating the tourist season opening.

This event will include a series of activities like footing, mountain-cycling, climbing, parachute jumping, diving and even yoga.

“Our program aims to generate an economic perspective for the rural areas, in this case those of South Albania. We start with tourism because this is a field with large potentials. Despite the large number of tourists during summer most of them are focused only on the sea. Through this festival we aim to present them with many other activities like climbing parachute jumping, etc. Music will of course become part of this festival, creating a welcoming atmosphere,” declared GIZ Regional Director, Hans-Jurgen Cassens.

Polyphonic local groups will also participate in this festival as representatives of the global heritage.
