Kruje, New Center for Public Services Opened

A new center for Public Services was opened on Saturday in Kruja. All the citizens of this city, can now use this center for around 230 different public services from six state and local institutions.

Present at the opening ceremony were, the Minister of Innovation, Milena Harito, Minister of State for Local Issues, Eduard Shalsi, the Director of World Bank, Ellen Goldstein and UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative, Brian Williams.

"We need to build mutual trust among citizens. This requires reforms, which we are building," said minister Harito.

According to her the improvement of public services all over the country is a challenge not only in Albania but all over the world.

Meanwhile the UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative, Brian Williams, underlined that the opening of this center is an initiative of the Albanian Governance.

"Citizens need efficient services, less bureaucratic and less corruption. This center and others that will be opened across the country, must meet the following three conditions," said Williams.
