Vlahutin: EU Projects Implementation Not Obstructed by the Elections

The European Union (EU) Ambassador, Romana Vlahutin avoided any comment over current political situation in Albania during a visit on Friday to Fieri city hall where she held a meeting with Mayor, Armando Subashi.
In a brief response to the journalists' questions in relation to the pre-electoral situation she said that EU projects will be implemented despite the fact that elections may take place or be postponed.
"The EU projects implementation in Albania is not obstructed by the elections' fate. Investment with a total value of EUR 20 million will be made by EU in 4 different city halls," said Ambassador Vlahutin.
