On the eve of the match Italy-Albania, Gianni De Biasi speaks one more time over his candidacy for the post of Italy’s coach. The Italian coach of the Albanian National Team Italian coach  gave an interview to "La Gazzetta dello Sport" explained the motives behind the decision of Italian Football Federation (IFF) president, Carlo Tavecchio to reject his candidacy for this position. De Biasi even stated that just got an answer without explanation, but said that he knows who is behind this thing.

“I do not want to argue with anyone. Today could have been me in the land of ventures, or at least I hope so I was given by an IFF official. I thought I was the first on the list, but then I was left behind by Ventura.

What happened, I learned in Como, during the symposium evening. By dinner, Tavecchio president said that one person, only one, my candidacy was brought down by someone that placed the veto. Also told me who it is, and I will soon reveal his name. I'll tell you when the appropriate time,” said De Biasi.
