Constitutional Court unveiled on Thursday the verdict for former-mayor of Kavaja, Elvis Roshi. The last submitted a request to this court demanding the abrogation of the executive’s decision for his dismissal from this position.

Constitutional Court verdict overruled this request, arguing that there was no incongruity between the executive’s decision and country’s constitution.

This unanimously taken verdict of the Constitutional Court clears the path to the President of the Republic, Bujar Nishani to decree the date of local by-elections in Kavaja. The head of state has a 48-hours deadline to define a date for this electoral process that should take place within 45 days.
