After the success experienced in “FOAM” museum of photography in Amsterdam the famous ‘Marubi’ collection traveled to USA. A photo-exhibition with dozens of pictures part of this collection that presents the unique art of Albanian photography opened the gates in Stamford of Connecticut. The US art-lovers and the Albanian community in USA will be given for the first time the chance to enjoy high resolution black and white pictures that illustrate a rare visual remembrance of the Albanian identity.

Beside this exhibition ‘Marubi’ collection activities agenda will include also a series of exhibitions in a number of European museums. Another important event for the ‘Marubi’ National Museum of Photography is the nomination for the coveted prize “Europe’s Best Museum of the Year”, that will be given during a ceremony that will take place in Zagreb on May 3.
