The Minister of Defense, Mimi Kodheli attended on Monday the opening of the new mobilization office in Korça, part of a long-line process of these offices opening throughout the country. She underlined the very important and irreplaceable role of these offices that will be administrated by the Albanian Armed Forces (AAF) reservists during civil emergencies. 

“We will further promote the notion of reservist on view of its necessity, especially in abnormal situations of civil emergencies, search and rescue situations, or similar situations that require our presence beside the citizens. Despite the active presence of the AAF forces the reality and extraordinary situations indicate that the necessity for reservist troops’ organization is more than present,” said the Defense Minister.

Referring to the mobilization office opening in the south-eastern city Kodheli said that the inclusion of a larger number of individuals, once part of the AAF, would increase the army’s presence in this territory.
