The head of Socialist Party (SP) Parliamentary Group, Gramoz Ruçi declared on Friday that opposition’s boycott of the parliament is a clear effort for country’s destabilization.

Referring to the fact that president Nishani mandate ends next month he said that the steps currently taken by the opposition may leave the country without a parliament and without an executive, thus generate a crisis.

“The new president should be elected next month, but those against this process are creating the conditions for a crisis. The idea of elections postponement was suggested last night from the opposition’s tent. This means that the existing parliament mandate ends in September, generating a total crisis for the country. We have already experienced a similar crisis 20 years ago,” said Ruçi, recalling the difficult situation created in 1997 after the fall of fraudulent financial schemes.

He stressed that the only way to gain power is through the electorate, thus it’s time to vote for the best choice not in accordance to the political parties appetite.
